We gave a small community hospital a healthy new brand.

Surrounded by big city competitors, we helped this local hospital remind the community of its value.

Background

Established in 1919, North Ottawa Community Health System (NOCHS) is one of the last small, community hospitals in Michigan. With growing competition from big, outside health organizations, NOCHS needed to update their brand and remind local residents of its important role in the community.

In 2015, the company transitioned to new ownership who wanted to grow the business while maintaining the long-standing reputation of the brand.

They asked Gazillion & One to help.

Solution

Putting the "care" back in health care.

We developed a new logo, marketing message, and brand that highlighted NOCHS competitive advantages and reminded residents of the convenience and value of a local, community resource to meet their health care needs. The new marketing promoted NOCHS' wide range of services and medical expertise along with it's investment in the community and commitment to patient experience.

Results

Where you need us most.

The new brand provided a renewed focus for employees and gave the hospital a clear and competitive message.
